Columbia College had its one hundred and twenty-sixth commencement yesterday in the Academy of Music. Fifty-eight young men were graduated from the college proper, and 36 from the School of Mines. An orchestra, led by Bernstein, was playing the overture to “William Tell,” at 10 A.M., as streams of wealthy citizens were pouring into the building with their families and friends.
